Yummy dark chocolate… yucks!

We have been hearing about the goodness of dark chocolate over milk ones, but it was only yesterday that Daddy decided to buy some and try. At the supermarket, I was trying to choose from 70% Cocoa, 85% Cocoa or the ultimate 99% Cocoa... I love dark chocolate, but have yet to try one with such high percentage of cocoa. Guess which one I chose?

99% Cocoa! Since it is good, might as well go all the well.

When we reached home, before I placed the chocolate bar in the fridge, I broke off a small piece to try. You saw what I was doing and ask what’s that. I said, “Chocolate, you want some?” That got your attention but somehow, you decided to ask me to try first. Breaking off half the piece I was holding, I drop it into my mouth and said, “Emmmm…, ok, here’s your piece”, placing a small piece into your mouth. After a few bites, I could taste the raw bitterness of the cocoa beans! Your reaction was similar, and quickly ask for water to wash the taste out. So how was the chocolate? “Yucks!”
